Editorial: Nobody's Perfect

The American Federation Fiduciary responded earlier today by email to michiganians who have been upset by the behavior and lack of progress from the Michigan Coordinator.  It was basically, "Sit down, shut up, and obey."

Nobody's perfect.

Yes, some michiganians have been very vocal and critical of the Michigan Coordinator.  They have seen the "glass" as "half empty" and leveled accusations about people that might be true, but are difficult to prove.  They also did not always have their facts right about American Government, and that did not help their credibility.

Others have tried repeatedly to work with the Coordinator and were eventually kicked out of the Assembly for simply asking why no progress had been made on setting up The Pillars and challenging appropriateness of some procedures.  The publisher of the Michiganian Free Press (MFP) was one of those people, and they have continually viewed the "glass" as "half full."

Many MFP articles address concerns and make suggestions, always trying to give the Coordinator the benefit of the doubt.  They were published in this forum because the Coordinator prevented any discussion about anything.

Michigan Assembly (TMA) Members who questioned leadership were told they were ignorant and to go study and LEARN.  That happened to the publisher of MFP.  Does the content of MFP display ignorance?

In today's email, the Fiduciary confirmed a "Roadmap" is appropriate, and that the Coordinator had been asked to write such a Roadmap before recommencing the Assembly Process on michigan.

The existence of a Roadmap is not the issue; there must be a plan.  The content of the Roadmap and its implementation are the problem, and that includes the "Agreement."

The Fiduciary forgot to address the issue of the "Agreement," the contract everyone must sign to be an Assembly Member.  For weeks and months, the Fiduciary has criticized the Michigan Coordinator for running a private club and for having inappropriate contracts.  The Fiduciary even recommended ASN's forego any such requirements.

The publisher of the MFP rescinded his signature while retaining his right to assemble, ...and was kicked out of the Assembly.  He was not allowed to speak at last night's General Assembly training session because he had rescinded his "Agreement."

Nothing has been resolved.  The Coordinator's "Agreement" remains in force, and many good and talented people have either walked away or refused to take part.  This is not good for michigan or The Federation.  Weeks and months continue to go by with no progress.  TMA has sent notices to courts and sheriffs, jousted with LEO's, and prepared personal "trustee notices," but there is still no Michigan Assembly Marshal at Arms.  That was on the agenda a year ago.

The MFP hopes the Fiduciary will take a bit more time out of their obviously extremely busy life to actually comprehend and address the problem.
