Silos

Social Media platforms segregate people into "silos" of thinking.

The Michigan Assembly (TMA) is using Social Media platforms to conduct much of its business.

This is a pair of screenshots taken from the TMA Public Telegram Channel and the TMA Litigation Committee Channel on November 10, 2023...

The Public got to see what was happening on the left, while only eleven (11) people were privy to the discussion on the right.

Social Media conversations are unaccountable because there is no permanent, searchable public record.

Michiganians are owed a de jure public government, and that government must be open to full view and it must be accountable.  Records must be kept, and those records must be available to the public.  That includes emails and personal communications about Assembly business.

Look to The Defacto for good examples of how things should be done.  The Defacto is very good at masquerading and presenting themselves as legitimate governments.
