American History

The publisher of the MFP is old enough to remember having both American History and U.S. History classes in school.  Portions of his "report cards" are shown, above, proving this.

The Americans did not commit genocide against the Native peoples.  A British corporation did.

The Native peoples lost their land during the so-called "French and Indian War," which happened between 1754 and 1763.  The French and their Native Nation allies fought the British Empire and lost.

The American Government fought the British Empire during The War of Independence between 1776 and 1783 and won it all back.

The American Government lived at peace with the Native peoples who had extensive farms, plantations and their own schools up until the time of Andrew Jackson.  It was Mr. Jackson's "Blue Coats" that started the genocide, and once the so-called "American Civil War" started, a British corporation calling itself the "U.S." rampaged against everyone.

 

The MFP publisher recalls wondering why he had to take "American History" all over again in Eleventh Grade because in his mind he had already had it.  His teachers did not explain this because they were surely as clueless as he was.

Mr. Jimmy Carter and his cronies established the U.S. Department of Education in 1980, and through its policies the teaching of American History disappeared.

Mr. Trump signed an executive order on March 20, 2025 instructing his corporation to close the Department of Education.

Mr. Trump did this because there is nothing in his corporation's contract about education.  Readers can examine the text of "the" Constitution (a contract for services) for the word "education," but will not find it.

A constitution is a debt agreement, not a pact for self government as most people seem to believe these days in 2025.

Assembly Street

There is evidence "state assemblies" existed prior to the American "Civil War."

SC  ASSEMBLY STREET  In 1786, when Columbia was established as the state capital, the General Assembly decided that two principal thoroughfares should run perpendicular to each other through the center of the town.  One of these, Assembly Street, was named for the General Assembly, which first met in Columbia in 1790 in South Carolina's new State House, a building designed by James Hoban, who later designed the White House.

THIS MALL IS NAMED IN HONOR OF
RICHARD RICHARDSON  1704 - 1780

BRIGADIER GENERAL OF MILITIA IN THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION, MEMBER OF THE FIRST AND SECOND PROVINCIAL CONGRESSES, COMMANDER OF THE 1775 SNOW CAMPAIGN AND ANCESTOR OF SIX GOVERNORS OF SOUTH CAROLINA.  HE WAS TAKEN PRISONER BY THE BRITISH IN 1780 AND BECAME MORTALLY ILL WHILE IN CAPTIVITY.  MAIN STREET IN COLUMBIA WAS FIRST NAMED RICHARDSON STREET.  WHEN THIS PORTION OF MAIN STREET WAS CLOSED TO CREATE A MALL, THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY VOTED TO RESTORE ITS ORIGINAL NAME.

SC  RICHARDSON STREET  Columbia's chief business street, Main, was first named Richardson Street for Richard Richardson (1704-1780).  This Virginia native settled in present Clarendon County, served in the "Snow Campaign" of 1775, was commissioned Brigadier General in 1778, was a member of the Commons House of Assembly, the First and Second Provincial Congresses, and the First General Assembly.  Six S.C. Governors are among his descendants.

SC  SENATE STREET  The South Carolina General Assembly created Columbia as the state's capital city in 1786, and Senate Street was named for the upper house of that legislative body.  In 1790, the General Assembly, which designated that the town be located on the Congaree River near Fridery's [sp?] Ferry, first met in Columbia in the new State House, designed by James Hoban, who later designed the White House.
