Land Jurisdiction Officials

Life happens and decisions must be made.

Those decisions are made by Elected Officials.

Often, there is no time for a committee to convene, discuss a matter, and vote.

The job of a Sheriff, Marshal at Arms, Coroner, Justice, and Militia Commander is to get things organized and make decisions.  They deputized others when they need help.

If the people do not like how an official is doing their job, they can get rid of them and elect someone else.

Officials deserve to be given specific terms of office so they can plan and build their operations.  Elections must be held at regular intervals to give michiganians an opportunity to evaluate job performances and make changes if necessary.

The Michiganian Free Press makes no presumptions that it knows best how to do things.  These articles are provided simply to help people begin thinking about what must be done to get their de jure government up and running.
